The Inferno Training Pillars

“First, we learn to train, then we train.”

What we learn to develop with each session:

Pillar One: Complete body awareness

“What does my body feel like, and how does it move through space?”

Breaking down and simplifying complex movements into their most basic form and learning how to execute them intentionally and pain-free. Building confidence in true somatic movement and spatial awareness by balancing physiology with new habits. Here we stress the importance of committing to sleep, nourishment, de-stressing and decongesting, to begin developing a strong foundation for training.

Pillar Two: Frequency, consistency and commitment

“Shifting perspectives.”

Consider our training as a sacred practice of honouring the body. Building our daily commitment and practice capacity and understanding it as a long-term journey is not a temporary destination. Here, honesty and accountability play the biggest role in a steady, sustainable progression. This increases our chances of success.

Pillar Three: Being present and slowing down

“Earning each step.”

Speed, power and athleticism are earned over time. They are the byproducts of continuous repatterning of the good quality movement. Moving slowly and being present in each phase of our training allows us to solidify the mechanics of movement and develop a stronger relationship with the ground. It also allows us to react better with our environment for optimal performance.
